Data Deletion Instructions
DinerHunt uses the Meta oEmbed API to retrieve publicly available captions and metadata from Instagram posts that you explicitly submit. We do not use Facebook Login and do not store any data from your Facebook or Instagram account.
How to delete your data
- Delete individual restaurant cards — open any saved restaurant card in the app and tap the delete button to remove it and all associated extracted data.
- Delete saved lists — go to your Lists page and delete any list you no longer need.
- Delete your entire account — to permanently delete your account and all associated data (restaurant cards, saved lists, and ingestion history), email us at privacy@dinerhunt.app with the subject line "Delete my account" and include the email address associated with your DinerHunt account. We will process your request within 30 days.
What data we store
- Your email address (for authentication).
- Restaurant cards extracted from URLs you submitted.
- Saved lists and collections you created.
We do not store your Facebook or Instagram credentials, profile data, friend lists, or any private content.
